Ceramics with Activ'in 1070
Activ'in 1070 is the City of Anderlecht's programme of cultural, well-being and leisure activities for over-60s and people with specific needs, run by its Seniors and Ageing Well service. Malina More is one of its operators and offers ceramics initiation workshops at the studio. Activ'in card holders pay a subsidised price; anyone else pays the standard price.
A session
A session lasts two hours: a short welcome, forty-five minutes with clay, a coffee break, and another forty-five minutes. Each participant makes one piece.
We fire it and apply a clear glaze that is safe for food and drink. It is ready to collect about five weeks later. Extra pieces cost €5 each.
