2024–2025 · Supported by Cera
Art et Mémoire
From 2024 until the spring of 2025, twice a month, Malina More opened the studio for a free drawing, watercolour or acrylic session over a hot drink. Anyone could come, and the sessions were set up for people living with Alzheimer's disease or a related condition.

How it worked
Up to twenty people per session, of whom up to five with a cognitive condition. An extra volunteer sat with them and helped. A participant needed to be able to hold a brush; no experience was needed. Sessions were at Rue Rossini 19, up eight steps.
Partners
The CPAS d'Anderlecht relayed the sessions through its social-health network. Cera, the Belgian cooperative, selected the project in its 2024 call "Avançons ensemble", which funds group activities for people with Alzheimer's.
After the project
The sessions ran until the spring of 2025. If you run a day centre or care group and would like something similar, write to us.
